The Jackson County Tourism Council shall work in conjunction with any recognized entity and the Jackson County Commission to promote tourism development in Jackson County, Kansas. The particular purpose of the Jackson County Tourism Council shall be to create economic growth within Jackson County by advancing growth in lodging receipts, employment and investment opportunities, and the tax base within the County.
