Chili Cook-Off Registration

The 2019 Chili Cook-Off will take place on Saturday, October 12th in Downtown Holton on the Square.  

For your information:  Along with providing homemade chili, we encourage creativity with your booth selection, decorating, and costuming.  Awards will be given on multiple levels:

  • People's Choice
  • Judges Choice
  • Most Creative Site

Participants are required to bring the following: 

  • Table
  • Extension cord for hook-up
  • Large cooker to keep food warm
  • Chili- approx. 4-5 gallons
  • Ladle for serving
  • Costuming/Decoration (if you choose)

Set Up: Everything needs to be set-up and ready to go by 10:30 AM.  The program directors will provide you with bowls, spoons, and napkins for you to serve the judges and public.

Registration: The cook-off command station will be located inside the Courthouse builing on the lower level.  Registration will begin by 9 AM.  To have your chili judged, you must have your entry in by 10:45 AM.

This event is a first come, first served. If your desired location is not available, we will contact you and place you somewhere else. If no preference is made, we will notify you prior to the event for your booth location

Registration
